Our youth need avenues to become competent and capable.

While the Boy Scouts of America has been a great organization for many, there are issues with it. In recent years a light has been shed on its darker side. The failure of leadership to report pedophiles because of the fear that it would make the organization look bad goes against the tenets it espouses. In addition, membership dues paid at a local level are disproportionately sent to HQ and used to pay for their sins from the past. Lastly, there is a drought of strong leaders these days. I see it everywhere, including the Scouts.

Better than the Boy Scouts. SAVAGE Survival is a club that works to inculcate certain ideals into our youth. Ideals that some of us have learned through extreme hardships or through conquering adversities. Ideals taught in the military, religious texts, from the Warrior Kid books, and other related sources. It's a club that teaches valuable life skills; Skills such as hunting, fishing, fitness, health, self defense, bushcraft and survival. It's a club that will work to help youth become competent and capable. It's a club that aims to help youth embody these skills and ideals and not just check them off on a list to get a badge. It's a club that is family oriented. It's a club that does not require an enormous commitment. It's a club where thinking outside the box is encouraged. It's a club that seeks out adventure and does not shy away from doing dangerous things safely.

Survival is the ULTIMATE sport.
